BEGINNER LEVEL
Objective: Develop a solid understanding of A/C system operations, component function and refrigerant behavior to enable safe and effective maintenance and diagnosis.
Covered in Sessions:
- Session 1: Temperature and pressure relationships, heat transfer concepts, refrigeration cycle overviews
- Session 2: Properties of refrigerants and oils, system retrofitting basics
- Session 3: Detailed review of evaporators, compressors, condensers and metering device.
Includes study guide, materials, and certification exam through HVACR Excellence
