It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we inform our members of the death of Dexter Scott who passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2022. Dexter has been an active member of the Delaware Apartment Association for over ten years, serving on the Apartment Angels Committee. Those that knew him well described him as a gentle giant with a heart of gold who always went out of his way to introduce himself to new members at events. Many of our members remember Dexter fondly as the first person they met, who warmly welcomed them to the association and immediately made them feel like part of the DAA family. We will all remember his ever-present smile that lit up any room he was in.
Dexter was more than a just vendor or colleague but a beloved friend. He left his mark on the DAA family and he will be missed more than words can express. We are eternally grateful for the contributions he has made to our industry.
