Legislative Fund

The DAA Board of Directors have decided to bolster our legislative efforts by funding a marketing campaign to provide us with the ability to take action to support our industry, defend our interests and try and prevent harmful legislation from being passed on the State level. Currently, the ACLU and other organizations are supporting a marketing campaign to support an agenda that is detrimental to our industry and the members of our association.

It is more imperative than ever for the Association to be prepared to defend our industry at the state and local levels. We have established a budget of $21,000 for a marketing campaign to support these efforts by targeting residents living critical districts where the legislative swing voters are present. To fund this campaign, the Board has voted for a one-time special assessment to all owner/manager members of $1.00/unit. This increase is reflected in the invoice attached and is due by 2/28/2022.
